Project financing for a 40,000-capacity multi-use stadium — we brokered $100 million of a $200 million facility.
Miloud Hadefi Stadium, a 40,000-capacity multi-use stadium in Oran, required project financing to complete a large-scale sports infrastructure development — a sector where lender appetite and structuring requirements differ significantly from commercial real estate.
We were mandated to broker part of the project debt. We identified lenders with infrastructure and sports-facility financing experience, structured the facility around the project’s construction and delivery milestones, and negotiated our portion through to close.
We closed $100 million of the $200 million facility, contributing to the completion of a stadium that has since hosted major regional and international sporting events.
